So...a friend of mine came up with an interesting idea. When she writes her books and stories, she tries to visualize who would be best suited to play the part of whichever character.
SO...for Mirage, I came up with a list of Potentials. Now...in a manner of speaking, Amy Lee of Evanescence fits the physical look to the LETTER...but she is a singer, not an actress.
All of the above actresses fit the age-range, and basic look of the character. Princess MIRAGE has Black hair and blue eyes that LITERALLY sparkle like diamonds when they catch the light...
Some of the more in-depth description of the character is as follows:
"Mirage was unlike anyone I have ever met. The epitome of a perfect woman. A Princess. A Queen. Her soul seemed to radiate Love to all around her. Men loved her, Women revered her, her subjects adored her. Here was the future Ruler of a Kingdom, who, when she entered a room, instantly had your respect. You instantly felt a sense of duty, of honor, of pride. You instantly fell in love with her. Her eyes could hold you captive, and could command you with a glance. Her voice could soothe you with a whisper, and make your soul soar with a song.
I can't begin to count the times I caught myself staring into those sapphire eyes, or how many times her voice put a smile on my face. Even now, as I look back on our Journey together, I would have lost my very sanity if not for her. This power of hers affected any who met her, but there was one difference: As I stared into her eyes...she stared back. When she noticed me smile, she would respond in kind. If ever I was thinking about how beautiful her onyx hair was, she would timidly tuck it behind her ear. With all my heart and soul, I loved that Princess...and she knew it."
Now some actresses have brown eyes, or blonde or light-brown hair, but that can easily be fixed with dye and special effects (look what they did for Vin Diesel in "Riddick")
So...who would it be?
Kiera Knightly (Pirates of the Carribean) Anne Hathaway (Get Smart) Emmy Rossum (Phantom of the Opera) Natalie Portman (V for Vendetta) Olivia Wilde (HOUSE, Year 1) Charlize Theron (The Italian Job) Rachael Henley (Older Lucy in "Narnia") Rachael Taylor (Transformers) Alexa Davalos (Chronicles of Riddick) Bryce Dallas Howard (Spiderman 3, Lady in the Water)
if anyone has any other suggestions, lemme know... Personally Im leaning towards Emmy, Charlize or Olivia...
Yeah, I like her as well...but shes not quite...soft enough. She is absolutely stunning, and has the perfect eyes...but her features are far too angled. Cheekbones, eyebrows, jawline, all very straight, and not quite round enough...if that makes any sense.
lol anyways...this poll was long over. None of them work perfectly enough for me.
