*SPOILER ALERT*

So…something interesting happened today (and I know this isn't so much an addition to the Appendix as it is an Author's note).

As I have stated before: Amy Lee of Evanescence has often been a bit of a muse for the character portrayal of the Princess. Her physical appearance, her strength, her grace, and the kindness in her eyes as well as her victorian/gothic style have been a way for me to reflect on the feel and mood of the Princess Mirage (and the story) that I am trying to convey.

This afternoon, I got an email-newsletter announcing the up-coming release of Evanescence's new music video, and I received a shock: There were 2 moments where Amy Lee ceased to be Amy…and became Mirage! Allow me to explain:

In box #1 in the image below…we can see a perfect representation of the Princess in the process of activating her Ki-Mearú, her necklace which activates the Mirage Gateways between worlds.

In box #2 in the image below, we can see Amy Lee touching a mirror which subsequently begins to crack, showing rays of light, and then Amy disappearing…which is a perfect visualization of a part in the story where the Princess Mirage uses the Mirror of Bloody Mary in conjunction with her OWN powers over the gateways to move from one location in Nascentia to another (without giving away too much of the plot).

So I thought "How FREAKY is this?!"

Guess I better get to finishing the darned book before more co-incidences occur and Im accused of plagiarism! Hahaha!
