I need your help!
So, as I'm sure 90% of you know (and are probably sick of hearing it by now...some of you have also heard this via email), my debut novel: "Mirage - The First of the Nascentian Chronicles" has hit the digital bookshelves on Amazon.com
In it's first week, Mirage did remarkably well, and stayed within the top 5 bestsellers in Mythology, competing repeatedly with Lord of the Rings.
Now, a little over a week later, Mirage has already slipped into obscurity, and went from #304 on Amazon's overall list, to the 400,000 range. In a week.
I know MANY of you have shown your support so far but...I need your help!
For the moment, Mirage is only available as a Kindle download, but in April, will become available on all other platforms such as nook, kobo, and iPad (albeit, you can download it to iPad/iPhone via the kindle app).
I need you to tell your friends, tell your neighbours, tell your acquaintances! If you follow review or book blogs, ask them to check it out!
At the moment...it's all about the numbers, and without an agent or publicist, I am doing this 100% on my own, and unless I can keep the numbers up, The Nascentian Chronicles will fade into complete obscurity. I need your guys' help to ensure that does not happen.
The basic plan at this point is for the digital sales be such that I can approach an agency and/or publishers at a future date (say...6 months) and explain to them: "Book 1 is doing ______ well in digital sales, Book 2 is in-progress, and Books 3-5 are planned out." hopefully convincing them to sign me on.
But in order for that to happen, I need to keep the numbers up! And that is where I need all of you to help out!
